he rugged TRV systems are now available for sale, hand built from the ground up, in standard form (SSI spec) or specifically designed for your application. Either way, the TRV system will work from day one and continue to work for years to come. Minimal maintenance and expertise is required to allow trouble free TRV operations. Should a fault occur, the suspect faulty module is simply exchanged for the relevant spare module thereby returning the TRV to 100% operational condition with minimal effort and de-bugging. The suspect module is then returned to SSI for repair and testing.

Over 500 of Benthos’ MiniROVER series vehicles have been sold worldwide and this proud tradition continues with the newest ROV to bear the name. The new MiniROVER is an extremely robust, highly portable system that allows the user to extend the operational envelope of their ROV projects and explore areas never before possible. At an in-air weight of 52 pounds, the MiniROVER is one man deployable and has built in connectivity for many optional sensors, including scanning sonars. This versatility allows the MiniROVER to be used for a wide array of applications.

Stingray is a portable inspection class ROV. With an in-air weight of 70 lbs (31.75 kg), it can easily be deployed and recovered by one person from any stable platform. Benthos offers an optional lightweight portable launch and recovery system for use on solid platforms like piers. This portable launching system is made of aluminum and is designed to safely deploy and recover the Stingray ROV. The system also folds flat for easy transport and storage.

Viewtooth® is compact and portable, easily operated, and can be set up and operational in a short space of time. There is no need for a lengthy installation process and can be used for deep water applications up to 3000m. The Viewtooth® housing is not camera specific and so can “wirelessly enable” a number of subsea cameras on the market. Elimination of cabling to make the camera wireless, increases reliability, flexibility and deployment possibilities across a wide range of industries. From offshore troubleshooting to monitoring of subsea installations, WFS’ wireless technology reduces vessel retrieval costs by allowing extended deployment of subsea equipment and significantly reduces the cost and risk of ROV operations.
